The town of Perdue is one of the very few that lost population from 2006 to 2011. Currently there are 374 people, down 2 from 2006. Perdue is about 60 kms from Saskatoon on Highway 14.
Perdue offers a school that serves Kindergarten to Grade 12.
Perdue is relatively well equipped for such a small town and especially as it is fairly close to bigger centres like Biggar and Saskatoon. Perdue has a bank, grocery store, hair stylist, post office, insurance broker, restaurant and golf course. There is also a rec complex, museum and library.
Perdue has a volunteer firefighters association.
