Borden is located about 25 minutes from Saskatoon and is located off the divided Highway #16 and is close to the North Saskatchewan River. Borden is a very small community, growing from 223 people in 2006 to 245 in 2011. Borden is home to the abandoned arch bridge also called the Borden Bridge.
Borden has one school for K-12 and is part of the Prairie Spirit School Division.
