The city of Warman has also grown substantially since 2006 when there were 4,769 residents to 7,084 in 2011. It’s population is estimated at over 8,000 in 2014. Warman is located approximately 10 minutes north of the city and is only 5 minutes northeast of Martensville. It was given it’s city status in 2012.
Warman has an elementary school, a high school, and a newly built middle school. Joint use elementary schools (both public and Catholic) were announced and will be built in the city at a date to be determined. Great Plains College is also located in Warman post-secondary education, adult basic education, English as an additional language, Energy Training and Personal Development. Warman is also home to an arena, fastball diamonds, soccer pitches, golf course, spray park, outdoor skating rink, etc. The newly built Legends Centre houses a fitness facility, tracks, volleyball courts, soccer fields, a skating rink and more.
Warman has its own RCMP detachment and a volunteer fire department.
There are many businesses and amenities in Warman and is a full service city.
Real estate in Warman is always busy with it being another of Saskatoon’s bedroom communities.
