The village of Prud’homme has grown by 5 residents from 2006 to 2011 and now has 172 people. This village is approximately 60kms from Saskatoon and is made up mostly of Ukrainian, Hungarian, Polish and Fransaskois communities. French is commonly heard from the older generations but with the francophone school nearby in Vonda more young people are learning the language.

Found in Prud’home there is a library, bank, post office, hotel, community complex (hockey, skating, bowling, etc) museum, lounge, park, and Wildlife conservation area.
