Pike Lake is found off of Highway 60 and is still about a 30 minute commute into the city. Pike Lake is also a Provincial Park which is a popular destination for school trips and weekend campers. The town is in a beautiful location.

Pike Lake has an elementary school from Kindergarten to Grade 4. There are a lot of acreages around the Pike Lake area as well as cottages and recreation homes.

Rosetown is a town located about 115kms from Saskatoon therefore it is too far of a commute for people from Saskatoon. Found at the junction of Highways 7 and 4. Rosetown has grown from 2277 people in 2006 to 2317 people in 2011.
