The town of Asquith is a town just 33kms west of the city of Saskatoon on highway #14 that has grown from 576 people in 2006 to 603 people in 2011. The majority of people who live in Asquith work in Saskatoon or the nearby potash mine.

There is one school in Asquith which is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school.

The town of Asquith is protected by a volunteer fire department as well as the RCMP.

Asquith is home to gas stations, restaurants, grocery stores (one full service/one convenience store), a hotel and bar. Like most Saskatchewan towns there is also a rink.

Real estate in Asquith is growing like everywhere else in Saskatchewan but it is experiencing slower growth than communities closer to Saskatoon.
